Jesse Childress
Originally from Palmdale, CA, Jesse Childress served in the Army and then later joined the Air Force reserves stationed at Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora, CO. Described as knowledgeable, experienced and respectful, he was a successful cyber-systems operator. Jesse loved sports! He could be caught playing a different sport every day of the week. He was a season ticket Broncos holder. He loved the Los Angeles Clippers and Kings. Jesse was described by friends as being a huge fan of comics and superheroes- he even named his car, “The Batmobile.” Jesse attended “The Dark Knight Rises” with a fellow Air Force member from Buckley and was fatally wounded while diving in front of her. Jesse was 29 years old. Friends describe losing a great man who would have given his life for another.
